Why take the time to develop this website, when I'm not here to sell you something? With all the work that has gone into and continues to go into FMTVDM, this is the last thing in the world I really wanted to spend my time on. For me it's right up there with having a prostate exam.

     But as much as I didn't want to develop this website, the only thing that I like less is the idea of letting people continue to receive sub-par Medical Tests. Tests that are wrong up to 1/3rd  of the time isn't an acceptable "STANDARD OF CARE." It's what I consider sloppy Medicine and it's time to put an end to it. Such tests are only continuing to be used because of tradition - not because they are accurate tests.  Tests which miss disease when you have it (sensitivity problem) or tell you, you have the disease when you don't (specificity problem) only casts doubt on the medical system and exposes people to harm.

     After visiting this website, I encourage you to share it with your Doctors, Hospitals, Insurance companies, friends, families, enemies, elected politicians and anyone you can think of. Their reactions will speak volumes. What's more important? A "Standard of Care" which is wrong 1/3rd of the time or a "Standard of Excellence" which can tell you where you're at on the scale between Health and Disease?
